Governance Commission Receives Courtesy Visit from Director General of the Cabinet, Mr. Nathaniel T. Kwabo Monrovia, November 27, 2025 – The Governance Commission (GC) yesterday received a courtesy visit from Dr. Nathaniel T. Kwabo, Director General of the Cabinet, at its 3rd Street office in Sinkor. Dr. Kwabo provides strategic guidance and coordination to the Cabinet, the government’s highest decision-making body. He met with the Chairman and members of the Board of Commissioners to discuss areas of reform initiatives. Welcoming Mr. Kwabo, the Chairman of the Governance Commission expressed gratitude for his visit and highlighted the importance of stronger collaboration between the Cabinet and the GC. He noted that the engagement reflects the government’s commitment to governance and accountability, and pledged joint efforts to advance reforms that improve service delivery and rebuild public trust. The Commissioners also extended their welcome, emphasizing that Mr. Kwabo’s leadership and experience add momentum to the reform agenda. They affirmed that closer cooperation between the Cabinet and the GC will drive meaningful change, ensuring efficiency, integrity, and responsiveness across government institutions Speaking during the visit, Mr. Kwabo underscored the significance of deepening reform initiatives to strengthen governance and improve service delivery. He noted that the Governance Commission plays a critical role in shaping national policy and ensuring accountability across institutions. “The GC must continue to champion reforms that streamline government operations, reduce inefficiencies, and reinforce integrity. These efforts are not only essential for credibility but also for building a government that truly serves the people,” he said. Mr. Kwabo further emphasized that reforms driven by the Commission should be forward-looking, focusing on modernizing systems and aligning government structures with national priorities. “We must seize this moment to reimagine governance in Liberia.
